2025 Youth Turkey Challenge

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. On Saturday, March 8, the Jefferson County Kings of Spring hosted their 13th Annual Youth Turkey Challenge. This year, there were 38 youths that registered to participate. Despite some initial stormy weather, the skies cleared up by mid-day and welcomed over 70 individuals to Trophy Creek Outfitters that afternoon for the award ceremony and dinner. The Kings Of Spring Vice President, James Hodges, met with a National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Regional Biologist, Ricky Lackey, who scored the birds.
