4-H announces speech contest winners

Justice Barrington UF/ IFAS Extension - Jefferson Each year, Jefferson County 4-H hosts the Florida Power & Light Public Speaking Contest for students in grades 4-6 from local schools, including the Jefferson County Homeschool Association, Jefferson County K-12 School and Aucilla Christian Academy. In September, teachers and parents receive materials to help students diligently select topics, conduct research, organize their thoughts and deliver their speeches. Through participation in the Florida 4-H Public Speaking program, students can develop valuable public speaking skills that will benefit them in both their professional and personal lives.
