Note: Letters to the Editor are typed word for word, comma for comma, as sent to this newspaper: Please keep letter to 600 words or less.  Florida is set to have a great opportunity next year to vote on a constitutional amendment that for once actually should be a constitutional amendment- the elimination of property taxes on homestead-exempted homes. The measure does not eliminate taxes on any other type of property- such as commercial or rental. Our most excellent Gov. DeSantis has said so
