Laughing and smiling school children were everywhere at this year's Aucilla Christian Academy Annual Fall Festival! Waffle Ball Toss, miniature golf, a basketball toss, train rides, ice cold Coca-Cola, and cotton candy were also in abundance! What more could a kid ask for on a beautiful sunny October afternoon? One student was even seen carrying an entire cake!
It takes a crew of ACA staff workers, volunteer students and parents to help make an event a success. Nicole Kimbrell oversaw the t-shirt table, Melissa Moody worked at the little train station, many parents who volunteered worked at game booths and Emma Conrad helped with the face painting table. Squealing children were jumping in the bouncy house while others were running around in chase. A father pushed his young child in a stroller and a few eighth graders posed for pictures. All in all, it can be said the day was a cheerful experience for those who attended, and the event was a wonderful way to enjoy this seasonal time of year.
Now that the Fall Festival is over, the school will be moving on to plan the next fun activities for the students and families. Sports are still in full swing and there are many more seniors to be honored before graduation befalls them in 2023.
Everyone get ready because football season ends soon, and basketball season is just around the corner! The first Lady Warriors Varsity basketball game is scheduled for Nov. 8, and the Varsity Warriors basketball game is scheduled for Nov. 28.
