A Comprehensive Plan should not be changed lightly

A Comprehensive Plan is a long term roadmap for a community's future. It is supposed to guide growth by addressing land use, transportation housing and the environment. It is supposed to be setting goals that the community wants. It is not to taken lightly. It should not be changed lightly either. I notice that one land owner is asking the City Council to void the Comprehensive Plan on a part of their property. I gather that the existing plan does not fit their envisioned business requirements
