A heartfelt thank you

On Monday, August 5, Hurricane Debby left her mark on our community. Her small---actually large---souvenir for me was a huge tree that blocked the city-owned access road that provided access to my house. Debby's intense winds uprooted the tree which was located on the side of the access road across from my house. The tree fell across the access road then crashed my fence as it landed with the remainder of its trunk and upper branches in my front yard. Frantic calls to the City Manager, Public Works Department, and the Monticello Police Department were my only resource for assistance and proved helpful.
