A Major adoption story!

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. For those who live in Jefferson County, or who travel to Monticello regularly to spend the day, chances are high that they have enjoyed an encounter at some point or another with Major, one of the canines previously housed long-term at the local Animal Control pound. He was brought in to Animal Control in September of 2024, and through extensive efforts made by volunteers, Major steadily became somewhat of a local celebrity, as volunteers who cared for
