A new ‘roo arrives at the wildlife center

The North Florida Wildlife Center in Lamont, Fla., has welcomed a new red kangaroo, Evie. She is just nine months old and is quickly making friends with the center's other red kangaroo, Erwin, who is a one-year-old male.
Evie was living on an exotic animal ranch elsewhere in Florida until May 19, when she moved in to the Wildlife Center's red kangaroo habitat, which has been made possible by Buddy Wofford, in memory of his late wife Sylvia.
