A Paraprosdokian

I had no idea what a prosdokian was, nor what I would do with a pair of them. It took me a while to be able to pronounce it, a little longer to figure out what it was. I’m a little smarter now. For those who don’t know, a paraprosdokian is not two prosdokians nor is it one of the lost books of the Bible. A paraprosdokian is a phrase that intentionally leads us into thinking one way, then ends in a way that causes the reader or listener to reframe or reinterpret the first part.
