The Aucilla Christian Lady Warriors varsity volleyball team went up against Meadowbrook Academy on Monday, Oct. 5, winning all three sets in the match and keeping their unbeaten streak very much alive. ACA is now at a record best 12-0, which translates to 36 straight winning sets, a milestone for ACA, as well as for head coach Cathy Rogers. Prior to the match, the Lady Warriors were presented with the trophy for winning the Florida Christian Athletic League’s (FCAL) Southern District. Monday’s win was round two of the playoffs and round three was Thursday night in Gainesville, when ACA took on Beaches Chapel. For the hometown fans who would like to catch the action, the games are streamed on the North Florida High School Network website nfhsnetwork. com. In a separate tournament on Monday, Oct. 12, ACA takes on the FAMU Baby Rattlers in a playoff match at North Florida Christian Academy in Tallahassee, that is part of the Volleyball District Tournaments for District 2A. This series will involve both public and private schools. When ACA and FAMU last met, on Sept. 17, ACA swept that match 3-0.
