Aldi’s acquisition of Winn Dixie moving forward

Aldi’s acquisition of Southeastern Grocers, including 400 Winn-Dixie and Harvey Supermarket stores, continues moving forward, and is expected to be completed in the near future.
The latest move in this direction was the recently reported completion of Southeastern Grocer’s divestiture of the Fresco y Más Retail Group, LLC, another step in the process of Aldi’s acquisition of all Southeastern stores, which the German-based company announced last year.
