All aboard the Brain Bus!

On Tuesday, March 18, the Jefferson Senior Citizens Center (JSCC) will be visited by the Brain Bus, a statewide mobile outreach program of the Alzheimer's Association. The Brain Bus will be at JSCC, located at 1155 N Jefferson St. in Monticello, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. At 10:30 a.m. there also will be a special session using the Wits Workout program, which offers intellectual engagement along with socialization for older adults. The Brain Bus raises awareness of Alzheimer’s and other dementias, and addresses the benefits of early detection, early diagnosis, brain health and risk reduction.
