Allie Dollar wins First Place in 2024 Holocaust Essay Contest

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. A local Monticello student has been named the first place winner of this year's Holocaust Essay Contest. Since 2007, the Holocaust Education Resource Council (HERC) has encouraged students to write about the role that hatred and prejudice played during the Holocaust, and demonstrate an understanding of the importance of tolerance and respect in ensuring that such a terrible event will never take place again.
