Alphonso "Al" Keaton, 58, of Tallahassee, unexpectedly passed at home on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, with COVID-19 observance, in the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Tillman of Tallahassee is serving the family.
Al was a 1980 Rickards High graduate and a longtime Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) employee before his current employment in the Ortho Unit at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH). He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and owner of A-Kleen Janitorial Service.
Cherishing his love and legacy are his son, Alphonso J. Keaton; daughters, Jasmine and Jhordan Keaton; sisters, Geraldine Keaton Carter and Deatta Hart; nephew raised as a brother, Roderick (Latasha) Arnold; niece, Laila J. Arnold; mother of his children, Gladys M. Woody; devoted friend, Donna Collier and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Al's parents, DH and Rosa Benjamin Keaton both preceded him in death.
