American Legion honors Crosby for 50 years of membership

On Tuesday, April 2, American Legion Post 224, in Cherry Lake, honored Jefferson County resident Ted Crosby with a certificate from the National Headquarters of the American Legion, recognizing his 50 years of continuous membership in the American Legion. Post 224 Commander T.J. Barber also presented a certificate to Crosby, who served in both the United States Army and United States Navy for a total of 37 years. He joined the American Legion in 1973. Crosby gained eligibility for membership by serving during the Vietnam War.
His wife, Mickey Crosby, also received a certificate of appreciation for her years of support for Ted.
