American Legion officers installed, two special members honored

Hailey Heseltine ECB Publishing, Inc. The evening of July 14 was an active one at the American Legion Post 49 on Water Street. Several groups were present to conduct the installation of new officers, and two elders of the legion were honored for their longtime membership. About 50 people were present to enjoy a meal and support the group. The event kicked off at 6 p.m. with a dinner of hot dogs and sides, followed by dessert. Installation started at 7 p.m. Officers were installed for the July
