American Legion reflects on active year at Christmas party

The Otto M. Walker American Legion Post 49 celebrated Christmas together with a potluck dinner on Tuesday, Dec. 10. Members and guests shared a bountiful feast, and Post Commander Ed Gifford took time on the occasion to reflect on all of the organization's activities for 2024. It's quite a list!
Beginning on Jan. 15, the Post participated in the Dr. Martin Luther King Day Parade. In February, they helped with Run for the Fallen and the Boots Thomas 79th Anniversary Ceremony. In March, they supported the Coffee with a Vet event at the CowHaus Coffee Co. and also conducted a Vietnam War Remembrance Ceremony. Events in April included a Dream Flight at Talla
