The Middle Florida Baptist Association (MFBA) is pleased to announce their upcoming association-wide event, Children's Mission Day, set for Saturday, Feb. 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at Fellowship Baptist Church. This special day is planned for K-5 through sixth grade children, but everyone is welcome, and lunch will be provided. “Annie Armstrong,” who was one of the founding members of the Women's Missionary Union (WMU), will be in costume to guide the kids through various rooms where they will learn about the many local and international missions that the MFBA is involved with.
International mission fields such as Romania, Haiti and China will be highlighted, along with popular local missions, Operation Christmas Child, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and others.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to bring baby bottles full of loose change to support the ministry efforts of A Women's Pregnancy Center, in Madison. The MFBA will also be collecting diapers and hygiene items for Lafayette Health and Rehab, in Mayo as well as canned and boxed goods for local food pantries.
Please RSVP the number of adults and children attending the event through the MFBA office at (850) 973- 8607 or their Facebook page, by Sunday, Feb. 7. Fellowship Baptist Church is located at 1997 NE Colin Kelly Hwy., in Madison.
