Another alarm raised about possible truck stop at Nash Road

If a planned truck fueling station comes to the corner of U.S. 19 and Nash Road, as area residents expect it will, Jefferson County may well lose one of its special attributes.
This was the message that Nash Road resident John Broadway brought to the Jefferson County Commission on Thursday evening, Nov. 16.
Broadway said three things made Jefferson County special. He named these to be the county’s natural beauty, as represented by the Aucilla and Wacissa rivers, its keystone assignation, and the lack of a traffic light, which he said made Jefferson almost unique among Florida counties.
