Another forecast calls for extreme hurricane season

It bears repeating that all indications are that the coming Atlantic hurricane season, which officially begins June 1, is shaping up to be doozy.
The latest outlook, released by Colorado State University (CSU) on April 4, calls for the highest number of hurricanes since the university began making the annual predictions in 1995.
The CSU forecast calls for an extremely aggressive season, with 23 named storms, 11 of them hurricanes and five major storms in the Atlantic basin, which includes the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico.
