Walker American Legion Post 49 plans to pay the expenses for at least one local boy to attend Florida's American Legion Boys State this summer, held at Florida State University during June 15-21, 2025. Any young man who will complete eleventh grade by May of 2025 and who is interested in this opportunity should request a local interview by Friday, Jan. 10, by calling Post 49 Commander Ed Gifford at (330) 354-5533.
