ARI hosts first session of free summer archaeology program

The Aucilla Research Institute (ARI) has recently begun a new free summer program as part of their educational outreach efforts.
Students meet three times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m. through noon throughout the month of July to study real artifacts and the techniques behind analyzing them at the ARI office. It is an opportunity for the students to get hands-on experiences in local history, conservation techniques, science and anthropology, guided by real professionals along the way.
