Artist Spotlight: Abigail Boyd

Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. Monticello is a city that is rich in the arts, and many citizens among us harbor incredible talents that often go unnoticed. Among these talented artists is Abigail Boyd (also known as Abi), a 21 year-old artist who specializes in oil paints and ink drawings. Ever since elementary school, Boyd recalls having an affinity for painting, but specifically began working with oil paints at the age of 17. The exploration of oil paints began with attending an art class at a local art studio space, the Jefferson Arts Gallery, located at 575 W. Washington St., in Monticello.
