Aucilla Christian Academy alumnus promoted in Air Force

Kenzie James ECB Publishing, Inc. An Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) alumnus was recently promoted to a noncomissioned officer leadership position in the U.S. Air Force in his 10th year of service. Kent Jones of Taylor County graduated from ACA in 2011, and then attended college at North Florida College (NFCC) and Florida State University. Like other students, Jones was looking for a way to get through college without debt and joined the Air Force in December of 2013. Jones was promoted earlier this month to Master Sergeant and grade E-7. A staff sergeant and higher ranks, which are grade E-5 and higher, are noncomissioned officers ranks, which means the officers are capable of leading
