The middle school girls volleyball team at Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) has had a busy season already, and they will continue to play regularly throughout the season. Their games began Aug. 19 with a win against Community Christian School (CCS) followed by another winning competition two days later at North Florida Christian (NFC).
On Sept. 2, the girls were on the court, going face-to-face with the Lions of Community Leadership Academy (CLA) of Tallahasee. This first September game did not result in a win for ACA, with set scores of 25-13 (CLA), 26-24 (ACA), and 15-7 (CLA).
It was an overall loss for the night, but even so, Coach Becky Brandies expressed pride in her team, “The girls faced some very good serving and they fought hard. I'm proud of them for coming back to win the second set.”
Good luck, Warriors, as you continue your season.
