The Jefferson K-12 Somerset Athletic Program hosted a Back to School Block Party, Saturday, August 11, 2018, at the Jefferson Somerset Football Field.
Students enjoyed jumping in the bounce houses, seeing old friends, and receiving school supplies and backpacks. There were 178 back packs given away that day due to the overwhelming support from our community.
The Jefferson K-12 Somerset Administration and Staff would like to thank the First United Methodist Church of Monticello, Episcopal Church, First Baptist Church of Monticello, Rotary Club, JoAnn Jones, Rowena West, Gene Hall, Pat Miller, Jeff Whitty, Nan Baughman, Alexandra Castillo, Tully Sparkman, and Fred's for supporting our students with their generous donations!
Our theme for the 2018-2019 school year is “Rising to the Challenge”. Every day brings wonderful new learning opportunities. It is our goal to equip our students with every necessity and resource they need to be successful. We appreciate your partnership with this endeavor.
