Baptists set church planting goal

Laura Young and Leah Androski ECB Publishing, Inc. The Florida Baptist Convention (FBC) Challenge seeks to have 75 new churches planted across Florida before 2025. To provide financial resources for this goal, FBC holds an annual Maguire State Mission Offering. This year’s theme for the offering is “More for the Kingdom.” In Jefferson County, churches that belong to the Florida Baptist Convention include First Baptist Church of Monticello, Elizabeth Baptist Church, Central Baptist Church in Aucilla, Lloyd First Baptist Church and Lamont Baptist Church.
