Barbara Ann “Bobbie” Joyner, 58, passed away on Oct. 16, 2022, in Tallahassee, Fla. She was born on Sept. 27, 1964, the daughter of Joseph Levi Brewton Jr. and Mary Katherine (Green) Brewton.
Bobbie moved from Pensacola, Fla., to Monticello, Fla., where she lived for the past 50 years. She loved her family, spending time with grandchildren, and children in general.
In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her son, Virgil Joyner Jr., and sister, Juanita Paxton. Survivors include her husband, Virgil Joyner; son, Joseph “Joey” Joyner; brother, Bubba Brewton; sisters, Theresa Martin (Travis) and Joann Vaughn (Dalton); brother-in-law, Terry Paxton; grandchildren, Caleb Ryan Joyner and Kasen Grey Joyner; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held at Beggs Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday, Oct. 21, at Oakfield Cemetery at 2 p.m.
