“Battle of the Counties” tournament coming

Rick Patrick ECB Publishing, Inc. A full day of basketball excitement is planned on Saturday, Aug. 1, when Madison County hosts the “Battle of the Counties” basketball tournament. The double-elimination tournament will feature teams of adults and former high school players from Jefferson, Lowndes, Madison and Taylor Counties.
