Bethlehem in Monticello is going BIG this year!

Church seeking volunteer cast members Heather Ainsley ECB Publishing, Inc. Each year, the First Methodist Church of Monticello hosts a holiday event that enchants and delights the community by bringing a real-life nativity scene to Monticello. Each year, the church alternates a large nativity scene with a smaller, less in-depth scene, and this year is scheduled to be a big one! The church has provided this Christmas treat free of charge for the public to attend for the last 25 years. It all began when one of the esteemed church members, Billie McClellan, became inspired to create the event, which provides a thorough nativity scene, complete with the city of Bethlehem from the Bible.
