Betty Joe Flatt, 69, passed away on May 14, 2022, in Monticello, Fla. She was born on December 12, 1952, in Baker, Fla., the daughter of Alonzo and Mildred (Courtney) Spencer. Betty moved from Madison, Fla., to Monticello in 1967. She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family, going to the beach and collecting shells, working puzzles, and she had a special place in her heart for animals.
