On Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) and Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford Mustang. The driver was identified as Jimmy Ware, Jr., a resident of Jefferson County.
Drug detection K9 PePe was deployed and alerted to the odor of narcotics emitting from the vehicle. A search on the Ford

The white powdery substance tested positive for cocaine and weighed 520.9 grams (1.15 pounds), a little over half a kilogram, with a street value of $14,000.
Subsequently, Jimmy Ware, Jr. was arrested for Florida State Statue 893.135(1) (b) (1), Trafficking Cocaine More than 28 Grams Less than 150 Kilograms, and booked into the Jefferson County Jail.
