Bill Moon exhibit opens Oct. 12

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The October exhibit at Jefferson Arts Gallery (JAG) features the wood sculptures of Bill Moon, the founding president of JAG. The show, entitled “Bill Moon's Love Affair with Woodcarving,” opens on Saturday, Oct. 12, with a special reception from noon until 4 p.m. at the gallery, located at 575 W. Washington St. in Monticello. Moon's lifelike carvings of birds and flowers have been compared with the famous porcelain figures created by Edward Boehm. “H
