Another of the many proposed measures moving their way through the Florida Legislature is one that would ban minors of certain ages from using social media platforms. House Bill 1, and companion Senate Bill 1788, seek to block users under 16 years of age from using social media platforms that contain what the bills call addictive features, regardless of parental approval.
