Blessings and challenges

Looking back, I’ve been blessed over my lifetime by many people. Every Christmas, I decorate my Christmas tree with special ornaments from friends and family; each a gift representing something about that person which brings back warm memories as I place them on the tree. More blessings were realized as I browsed through a box filled with all of the cards and letters I had sent my wife, as well as pictures of some of our travels together. She had kept them all! But then there have been dark times as well. I’ve had many over my lifetime.
