As we navigate these trying times, the need for a ready blood supply continues. Donated blood has a limited shelf life and needs to be replenished.
OneBlood is practicing increased safety measures and its hours of operation are back to normal.
This Wednesday, May 13, the Big Red Bloodmobile will be stationed at The First Bank, 200 E. Washington St. in Monticello, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and donors are invited to come and give a gift of blood to those in need.
Identification is required and donors who are 16 years of age will need parental permission.
Contact Diane Avrett at (850) 491-1225 or diane.avrett@oneblood.org or visit the Bloodmobile, as walk-ins will be accepted.
As a thank-you gift for saving lives, all blood donors will receive a free $10 eGift card and a free OneBlood tee-shirt or a OneBlood stainless water bottle.
An added bonus is that all donors will receive a free wellness checkup, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count and cholesterol screening.
Please consider donating today. Your continued support is needed to help ensure a ready blood supply for those in critical need. Every blood drive is important and every blood donation is crucial.
