Boutique store break-in suspect identified

The Monticello Police Department (MPD) identified the suspect of the burglary alarm last weekend as Stanley Reed and have asked citizens for information as to his whereabouts.
MPD officers responded to the burglary alarm at Soulshine Vintage boutique at 195 N. Jefferson St. that went off on Sunday, May 26. The MPD press release stated the officers who arrived on scene found all accessible entry points to be secured.
“The key holder later arrived and found a rear door entry point within the secured area to have been breached,” the press release said.
