Boys & Girls Club appeals to county for funding

Now that the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend (BGCBB) has returned to Jefferson County, its leaders are hoping to get buy-in from the local government for expansion of the program. Kacy Dennis, chief executive officer of the BGCBB, along with several of the organization’s board members, approached the Jefferson County Commission with an ask on Thursday evening, Feb. 15.
