Bringing JOY to Jefferson County Youth

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. Members of JOY (Jefferson Outreach for Youth) are gearing up for their 15th annual toy drive to provide Christmas gifts for local youngsters. This is the time when donations are solicited to help with the project. Shortly, folks will see decorated boxes around town where donated toys can be left. Monetary donations are also needed and can be mailed to JOY at P. O. Box 25, Monticello, Fla. 32345. The children who will receive gifts are between five and 13 years old. Presents are not extravagant, mostly simple, available toys; arts/crafts supplies, books, blankets, educational toys, outdoor play items, pretend play items and school supplies are suggested
