On Thursday, Oct. 15, Jefferson County deputies executed a search warrant for narcotics at 520 S. Marvin St. Upon executing the warrant, two brothers, Tatani Roach, 42, and Darlington Roach, 41, were arrested.
According to JCSO, at the time of the search warrant, Tatani was on Federal probation, house arrest and fitted with an ankle monitor for previous methamphetamine charges.
The search warrant yielded a total of 172 grams of synthetic cannabinoids, 18 grams of methamphetamine and a quantity of paraphernalia used in the sale of narcotics. A large amount of fake currency was also seized.
According to the booking report, Darlington was charged with synthetic narcotic with intent to sell and possession of methamphetamine with a bond set at $10,000. He was released on Friday, Oct. 16.
Tatani’s booking report stated he was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell methamphetamine and synthetic narcotic with intent to sell. He did not have a bond amount set, as of press time.
