Bruce Snyder shares how church people provided comfort in times of trouble

The holiday gathering of the Monticello Community Prayer Breakfast took place on Thursday, Dec. 7, in the festively decorated fellowship hall at St. Margaret Catholic Church. The buffet, organized by Brother John Hopkins and the Knights of Columbus Round Table, included an array of tasty items donated by the Hardees in Lamont.
After enjoying the fare, the program began with the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by everyone singing the Christmas carol, “Joy to the World.” Mike Grisham, of Gideon's International, then sang a solo of “Bethlehem Morning” (by Morris Chapman).
