Buccaneers outlast Tigers

Despite racking up 360 total yards of offense and scoring four touchdowns, the Jefferson County High School Tigers were defeated by the Branford High School Buccaneers, 43-30, on the road, in Branford on Friday, Oct. 25.
Tiger quarterback Malik Johnson went 12-for-21 throwing for 193 yards with two touchdown passes and one interception. Johnson also led the Tigers in rushing with 116 yards on 16 carries, with two rushing touchdowns.
