For temperatures below freezing (32 degrees F), residents may want to leave all water taps slightly open, so that they drip continuously. Residents are also encouraged to bring in any outdoor house plants and to ensure any outdoor-dwelling pets are provided with a safe, warm place to be if they cannot be brought indoors.
