A Monticello graduate earned Magna Cum Laude with a 3.8 to 3.9 GPA average.
Caitlin Paulk attended Rose Academy, in Tallahassee, where she recently graduated with honors. During her education at Rose Academy, she took courses through Florida Virtual School, maintaining a high-grade point average, earning her the title of great honor for her dedication to her education.
Magna Cum Laude is a Latin term for “with great honor” and can also be defined as “with great praise” depending on the scholar and school. To graduate with this title means the student was able to achieve an academic degree with notable distinction.
In the fall, Caitlin plans to attend North Florida College in Madison to obtain her Associates in Arts. She desires to continue with her higher education as a teacher.
Caitlin Paulk was born and raised in Monticello and is the daughter of Travis Paulk of Tallahassee, and Marcia Paulk, of Monticello. She has a 14-year-old brother, Noah of Monticello and a 24-year-old sister, Brooke of Tallahassee. Her grandparents are Flo and Chris Wild, of Monticello, and Marsha and Bob Paulk, of Dothan, Ala.
