Summer 4-H camps may not be meeting in-person at the moment, but the Florida 4-H Camp facilitators are hoping to bring a little of the summertime excitement around camping and meeting other 4-H'ers into this year.
Extension Offices around the state will be holding County Camp Nights, which will allow local 4-H youth in the state's individual regions to connect with each other virtually.
Jefferson County's virtual camp night will be held on Thursday, June 25, at 6:30 p.m.
This camp will allow youth to get re-acquainted with their local 4-H director (John Lilly) while also playing virtual games with other campers and engaging in fun activities.
The Jefferson County Camp Night is completely free – all parents have to do is pre-register their child to participate.
This is a one-night-only event, so don't miss the chance to enroll your child in this evening of virtually “sitting around the camp fire” and getting to know the other 4-H'ers in Jefferson County.
For more information, contact 4-H Director John Lilly at jgl@ufl.edu.
