For National Car Seat Safety Month, the Florida Dept. of Health – Jefferson is holding a special event on Friday, Sept. 25. Come to the parking lot of CarQuest Auto Parts (1321 S. Jefferson St.) for a free car seat safety check 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
There will be information about when it's time to change to a larger car seat as well as assistance from certified technicians on how to correctly install car seats. A limited number of free car seats will be given away while supplies last.
