Car Show proceeds presented to Lions Club

Laura Young ECB Publishing, Inc. The Monticello CarQuest Customer Appreciation Day and Car Show on Nov. 2, 2024, drew entries for 80 vehicles. A steady crowd came out on the sunny fall day to view the various types of classic cars, enjoy the free barbecue (provided by Joey Davis) and see demonstrations of Stihl equipment. The event was lively and interactive with DJ Chuck's perfect playlist of tunes and raffle tickets that were sold before and during the event. Car registration had been handled by Don and Chantel Romaine, and judges included Don Romaine and others from the Tallahassee Region Antique Automobile Club of America (TRAACA).
