Carillo wins JCS spelling bee

It's spelling bee season across the nation, and students have been buzzily competing, first to become a classroom champion, then vying to be school winner, ever hopeful to move on up the levels to the Scripps National Spelling Bee, which is scheduled to take place in May of 2025. The National Spelling Bee program has been happening since 1925, with the aim to inspire a lifelong exploration of words, celebrate academic achievement and enrich communities whose students participate.
