The North Florida Wildlife Center (NFWC) in Lamont, Fla., received a $1,000 donation this summer from the Capital City Bank Group (CCBG) Foundation. NFWC's mission is wildlife conservation through public educational outreach, propagation of rare and endangered species, and habitat restoration. It is home to 34 species of wildlife that can no longer survive in their natural habitat. Visitors can meet and learn about lemurs, a giant anteater, a red kangaroo, a two-toed sloth, a hedgehog, an Egyptian fruit bat, a blue-tongued skink, 21 species of amazing birds and more.
“[CCBG Foundation's] generous donation was put towards our animal care program,” sai
