In celebration of National Chamber Week, September 14-18, this area's Monticello Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce will recognize and thank its chamber businesses and prospective members for their support and donations to the community and for their business in the community.
The Chamber will offer a week of “thank you” goodies, beginning on Monday, Sept. 14 with a coupon for free chicken tenders at Hardee's. The coupon can be picked up at the Chamber office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., until they run out.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15 there will be free Crepe Myrtle trees, compliments of Simpson Nurseries. The trees can be picked up at the Chamber from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., until they run out.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16 a box of six creamy, delicious, glazed donut holes can be picked up at the Chamber, compliments of Johnston's Meat Locker. Also, while the supply lasts.
On Thursday, Sept. 17 the Chamber will offer a coloring contest. Those wanting to participate can pick up a coloring page at the Chamber office. The completed page will need to be submitted back to the Chamber via facebook.com/monticellojeffersonchamberofcommerce by Friday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. Participants can contact Executive Director Katrina Richardson at (850) 997-5553 or info@monticellojeffersonflorida.com to have to page emailed to them.
From 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, come by the Chamber office for a visit and refreshments of coffee, cake and cookies.
The chamber is located at 420 W. Washington St. in downtown Monticello. Established on July 13, 1958 the Chamber of Commerce has been a driving force in Jefferson County’s economy for decades and is dedicated to promoting the business community and preserving the free enterprise system. For 62 years the Chamber has been an organization of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the commerce and civic progress of our region.
